Parent Information
Changes to the Team Guidelines & Policies

PRE-PREP: Beginning with the 2008 season, 6-year olds' participation will be limited to only practices; no games. It was felt by the coaching staff and the Board that these players are still not quite mature enough to fully compete against the older players. "Pre-Prep" players will develope confidence without the added pressures of game situations. Parents of these players will need to commit to being at each practice to assist your child and the coaching staff as the need arises. As the season progresses, the coaching staff can make determinations on a case-by-case basis to see if a "Pre-Prep" player is prepared enough to participate in a game. Parents of "Pre-Prep" players will be exempt from the mandatory game day Concession Stand support activities, but the extra help would be appreciated.

TEAM ORIENTATION: Each squad level has been assigned a specific night for uniform issuing and Team Orientation that is mandatory attendance for participation this season. There is a scheduled make-up if you miss your squad's meeting. Please refer to the Activity Schedule for dates, times, and locations. Please note that if you miss your squad's assigned equipment issue and wait for the make-up, we cannot guarantee that there will be suitable equipment for your player. If we need to order, your player may miss the first two weeks of practice making them ineligible for the first game, the Coach's Award, and the Wolfpup Letter.

CONCESSION STAND & FUND-RAISING: With the rising costs associated with this program, parents are expected to participate fully in these highly important areas. The first several stations at uniform issuing will be dedicated to explaining these expectations. Should a parent/guardian choose not to participate, the registration fee for each player will increase by $100, and we will no longer bother you with these requests; or your player(s) will not be allowed to participate. If the choice is made to not participate, registration fees will be refunded according to the published policy. Please review the Volunteer Agreement.

LATE REGISTRATION: Registration closes on August 20, 2009. However, there are circumstances that may allow a player to register after that date. Exceptions will be left to the discretion of the Head Coach.

COACH'S AWARD: Eligibilty for this award begins with parental attendance at the Team Orientation meeting.

WATER: See the heading under Safety for information about the new "water bottle" requirement.
